About the Artist

Evannah V is a Belizean American artist who studies at Columbia College Chicago as a film major and music business minor. She is a singer-songwriter and is currently pursuing working in the music industry, learning as much as she can on the scene and behind the scenes. She is currently in Joffrey ballet this year, taking a class in her senior year. Here are some accomplishments from the past 4 years:

She started her LLC online e-commerce shop named Disorderly Conduct (you can shop on www.shopdisorderlyconduct.com), and is currently a Grammy U Chicago chapter member. Evannah V helped advocate for the HITS and American Music Fairness Acts for the Recoding Academy and became a mentee of Wanz, a featured artist on the hit song Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. She has worked with the American Performance Poet J. Ivy. and volunteered for the Recording Academy Block Party near SXSW in Austin, Texas. Evannah V is currently an A&R Representative for the student-ran label, AEMMP Records at Columbia College Chicago. She helped throw a showcase in Texas at a speakeasy for her artist Mohit, worked with Live Nation and Music Forward Foundation, and volunteered for a Gretta van fleet event as a hospitality concession stands person. Evannah V interned for 247HH, filming content and marketing for artists such as G Easy, Jadakiss, Nike, and more. Lately, Evannah V is working on solo music to rebrand herself, as well as the latest single, Gasoline, performed by King Micah, who is also her sister and an upcoming Belizean artist. She has helped with co-directing music videos for her sister, behind-the-scenes footage for the music video Rude Boy, and worked with Me Em Dance and Xtreme Arts in Kingston, Jamaica. She went to New York City to be in a writer circle and assist a known Belizean artist named Tanya Carter. WBCRX recently had an interview with her on her accomplishments and her journey with AEMMP records, and she’s trying to work with Lollapalooza. She has been talking with the A&R about Rolling Loud and submitting her projects to them as well. Evannah has also worked with Cinespace Chicago Film Studios as an extra, getting rolls on The Chi, Empire, 4400, and Chicago PD. In her words, "life is rich no matter what you do and I love collaborating and just networking and being busy and helping others and see where this journey will go."
