“Woodland Music”

Digital Illustration
8.5” x 11”

“This piece is about an escape to nature, in highlighting the world's natural whimsy and twisting it with a bit of a magical flair. It is about finding joy in the world around us, and creating music for the world and it's creatures. When I made this, I just wanted it to make people smile, I think we all need something to smile about right about now.”

–Sol Salinas

Sol Salinas was nominated to have their work showcased in Hokin Honors by Chris Eliopoulos, Assistant Professor of Illustration at Columbia College Chicago.
